Love Love

I Love Love…”No, I did not stutter – although it may seem I did, I promise I did not. I am just quoting one of my favorite people of all time. Someone who day-in-and-day-out shows her true self to her family and her world. No, this person is not someone famous, well maybe not famous outside these four walls; it is my incredible wife! 😊

Now the question is, did she come up with this declaration? No probably not. That does not matter to us, because in our household, it is just something we expect her to say. But why? What is the significance? 🤔

For the most obvious reason of all, LOVE! How could one not love love? It does not matter if it is because Adam Jr is snuggling and telling her how much he loves her (while throwing in the jab – more than daddy and Harley too), or if we are watching a new show where the protagonist finds love and rides off into the sunset. When these heart string tugging, hold back the tears so I don’t show that the Hallmark movie was actually good, moments happen without hesitation you will hear out of her mouth behind choked back tears: “I love love!” **sniffle** 😢

That is who she is, she loves love – and you know what. SO DO I! 🎉

It is a motto to live by, if you love love then you love all the best parts of what love encompasses. Family – Love, Friends – Love, Vacations – Love, Perseverance – Love, Strength – Love, Love – Love. It does not matter what it is, if it brings you joy, emotion, strength, embrace, truth, happiness then you need to love it! I love love, why? because she loves love, because she has taught our son to love love, because of the love in our little familial bubble, I love love. ❤

Yes, before loving love, I loved – I am that type of sappy guy. A climactic story where all ends are tied together in a heart-shaped bow would bring all the burning behind the eye feels. A song that struck the right chord which brought up reminiscence of our past and trajectory of our future making me happy about the unknown, would hit me like a sack of bricks with hearts plastered on the sides. Nothing new here, I liked happy endings, in movies, stories, life. I am not afraid to admit that, and she is not either. Sentimentally, we are two peas in the proverbial – wearing emotions on your sleeve – pod. That is why we try to teach Adam Jr to be the same. To be proud of empathy, be proud of sacrifice for the greater outcome, be proud of caring, be proud of your emotions, be proud of your love. Anything that could have you loving love is worth your time and energy.

I guess what this is all about, what I am trying to say is, we have been together for 17 years, and married for 9, Happy Anniversary and thank you for everything you do for our family every day. Thank you for being an incredible mother, wife, influencer, confidant, supporter, superhero, PJ Mask (or whatever Adam has you playing today), best friend, co-pilot, life-coach, photographer, and all around good person. We will never know what tomorrow will bring, but what we do know is that we have our family, good times and bad, and that is the love we need. 👨‍👩‍👦

I love you; we love you and with you we love love! 🥰

P.S. Sorry I hijacked your Blog – well sorry not sorry! 😜
