This year we were invited to attend the 2022 USGA Senior Open practice day in Lehigh Valley, PA! We did not know what to expect, but being golf lovers, we knew it was a must! We are so glad that we were able to go and partake in all the entertainment. Our family had so much fun!

There is still time to get tickets to come check out some of the best senior golfers in the field for the Championship this week and enjoy all there is for the whole family!

For the juniors in your group, there are a ton of fun games to keep them, and you, entertained. The kiddos will be in awe while standing at the 15th tee box in the junior-only grandstand overlooking the golfers taking aim at the long par 5 fairway. Or play detective while immersing themselves in an exciting scavenger hunt that will take them, and parents, all over the golf course. Take aim at Golfzilla inflatable targets. There are also more relaxing and casual coloring activities for the kids if they need a quick break or if they just love to color! Lastly, don’t miss an opportunity for the kids to take aim at the 19th Hole Putting Green. Specific times for the juniors are available each day (Tuesday – Sunday) from 10-11am, where they can putt along with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms mascot meLVin!

And there’s more- the 19th hole experience is like no other. With a festival style atmosphere, patrons can enjoy the golf simulators where they can check swing speeds, distances, accuracy and compare them to the pros. If keeping it casual and not swinging out of your shoes in the simulator is more your speed, the putting green may be the best place to unwind. There are also a variety of lawn games for the family to play. Cornhole, bean bag, bucket toss and more for those with a little bit of competitive nature who also love to have fun and play some classic yard games. That is not all, with live music on Tuesday and Wednesday during the practice rounds, families can get on their dance shoes while enjoying a variety of food and beverages. Also, there are TVs and even a Jumbotron to watch all the action!

There are so many ticket options available! These include Daily ticket packages which offer Gallery and 19th Hole ticket options. There are also Weekly ticket packages (a ticket for each day of the event including Gallery and 19th Hole ticket options). Flex Book Ticket Package which includes 10 daily Gallery ticket coupons, four of which can be used on Tuesday. Tickets for the 19th Hole are available and give purchasers the festival like experience nestled in the middle of the three finishing holes (16, 27, & 18) of the Old Course, and it includes everything mentioned for all the entertainment you need! The Junior Experience will keep the kids entertained as they play games, take part in coloring activities and can even experience the 15th tee box grandstand experience.
